Who have you worked for in the past?
In the past, I’ve worked at Matter Communications in the Consumer PR team, where I handled media relations for retailers, retail media networks, CPG brands, food & beverages, and grocery stores. Prior to that, I supported thought leadership and media relations for B2B tech clients at Walker Sands. I also interned at Positivo Consulting Solutions, a local agency in Puerto Rico where I supported clients in the government sector.
Where and when did your PR career begin?
My PR journey began at Pulso Estudiantil in Puerto Rico, where I developed internal communications strategy for the student-run news outlet and got my first real taste of how the media world operates. During my time at the University of Puerto Rico, I Ied PR writing for several campaigns, including No estás sola, a domestic violence awareness initiative in partnership with Coordinadora Paz para la Mujer. In 2023, I completed my Master’s in Strategic Marketing Communication from Emerson College, concentrating in branding and creative writing.
Where can you be found when you are not working?
When I’m not working, you’ll find me exploring Boston and New England, or visiting family in Puerto Rico. I’m passionate about photography and I love shooting portraits and landscapes on both film and digital. I’m also a self-proclaimed foodie who is always open to new restaurants and recipes recommendations.
