When and where did your PR career begin?
The inklings of my PR career began in sixth grade. I had a business that wrote letters on behalf of my young
friends and teachers to beloved candy companies and heartthrob celebrities, requesting product samples, and signed autographs. Clients paid me in quarters for a stamp, a letter, and an envelope. My mother informed me about an industry called ‘public relations.’
What was your first job, and how did you get it?
After internships with Ingalls, Quinn, and Johnson and Feinstein Keane, I joined a British investor relations
firm, Dewe Rogerson in New York City. I worked on 15 biotech accounts. Networking helped land that job.
Where is your dream travel location, and why?
I’d like to visit Iceland; to stand in awe of its natural beauty, relax in its hot springs, and gaze at the
Northern Lights.
If you were stranded on a desert island and could only bring three things,
what would they be?
I like to design and build, so in my pocket is a jackknife and duct tape.
Next to me is a Casamigos Cocktail Mix set to make margaritas.
Who have you worked for in the past?
I honed my PR skills from tenures at Boston, Providence, and New York PR agencies, including
Bishoff Solomon, Clarity Group, and Schneider & Associates. I have represented both large and growing consumer lifestyle product marketers and hospitality brands implementing media and influencer relations, and social media engagements. I’ve enjoyed working on brand points of interest, such as: Alpaca Suri, Butler Boots, Cape Clogs, Decathlon Sports, ECCO Shoes, Febreze, Fini Concierge, Harbor Sweets, Hasbro, Hellman’s Mayonnaise, Hotel Chocolat, L’Espalier, Legal Seafoods, Marker, Pinkberry, Snip-its, Starbucks, Wicked Good Cupcakes, Yankee Candle, and more. My consumer active lifestyle experience includes Copper Mountain, Eider, Killy, Panoptx, Pacific Trail, Winter Feels Good, Winter Park, Woodward Copper, and the World Shoe Show.
Where can you be found when you are not working?
You can find me practicing Pilates, skiing or watching the waves at the beach. Otherwise, I am
walking in the woods with my son, husband, and dog discovering cool formations, trees, and plants.
