CGPR, a leading consumer active lifestyle agency, this week added ECOS Paints, an innovative, eco-friendly paint, stain, and varnish manufacturer, to its growing list of clients.
Founded more than 30 years ago, ECOS Paints set out to revolutionize the paint industry, long plagued by concerns such as VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and chemical pollution (off-gassing) caused by many mainstream brand options. From scratch, the brand developed a suite of products free from chemicals that can cause a number of physical symptoms such as headaches and nausea and chemical sensitivity flareups.
“Health and environmental safety have remained a priority across multiple industries, however few take deep dives on some of the most fundamental products and how they play a role in our well-being,” said Chris Goddard, CGPR founder and principal. “Not many of us think of paint in this fashion, yet ECOS has pioneered new innovations such as air-purifying technology. CGPR has historically collaborated with innovative brands and this partnership feels like a natural fit given agency grounding in health, outdoor and consumer active lifestyle.”
After more than six years of testing in climates as diverse as Arizona, Utah, Maine, and Florida, the ECOS collection of paints, stains, and varnishes were brought to market. Acrylic-based, eco-friendly and durable, ECOS Paints can today be found adorning the walls of iconic institutions including the Louvre, Westminster Abbey and the Getty Museum as well as the offices of Google, Facebook and Microsoft. All ECOS products are manufactured in Spartanburg, South Carolina and sold throughout North America and around the world – in Asia, Europe, and Australia.
Emma Pugliares, marketing director for ECOS Paints said, “ECOS Paints has created paint that everyone can feel good about. To share our brand story and points of differentiation, we sought out a partner with the credentials, industry experience and historic capabilities to tell it both efficiently and effectively. CGPR is that partner.”
