Jeff Blumenfeld has been senior counsel to CGPR for over a decade, working with the agency on a number of client programs in the area of special events, trade shows, media outreach, and crisis communications. Prior to his affiliation with CGPR, he was vice president at Dorf/MJH, now part of Shandwick Public Relations. Before that, he was an account executive at Burson-Marsteller Public Relations in New York. Blumenfeld projects have included work for the American Fly-Fishing Trade Association, Backpacker magazine, Dacor (diving), Duofold, Du Pont, Iceland Tourist Board, Mares America (diving), Nautor's Swan, Raymarine, Sikorsky Aircraft, The Orvis Company, and Tilley Endurables. For the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Assoc., he organized Congressional receptions on Capitol Hill for seven consecutive years. He's performed public relations duties at marathons, Ironmen competitions, tennis tournaments, skiwear clothing tests in Argentina, trade shows, the top of Times Square on New Year's Eve, and on expeditions to the North Pole.
